Fenix Coaches Meet Rohit

Formally trained as an Aerospace Avionics engineer, Rohit ultimately decided to pursue a career closer to his true passions – health and human beings. After working in various gyms across Singapore for nearly a decade, Rohit has amassed formidable experience and expertise as a personal trainer.

Rohit is passionate about “rehabilitating” individuals through strength training, especially those with shoulder, back, or knee injuries. Rohit helps people overcome their fears of injury and re-injury with his sensitive and approachable manner. For example, Rohit has guided several clients with slipped or herniated discs to successful recovery and the ability to safely perform complex compound movements, including deadlifts and squats.

Rohit believes the gym is for everyone and works closely with “unconventional” clients, including seniors. In addition to, and quite apart from traditional strength-training principles, Rohit emphasises advanced behavioural techniques and holistic lifestyle management in his quest to help individuals “transform” into their best selves. Having worked with leading professionals across diverse industries, Rohit is sensitive to demanding work schedules and is experienced at delivering highly bespoke training programs.

As one of the two co-founding master coaches of FENIX, Rohit is responsible for maintaining the high standards of FENIX’s coaching team. He keeps abreast of the latest developments in exercise science and applied psychology in his free time.
